Fluence respects intellectual-property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to report content on the Fluence app or fluenceapp.net that you believe infringes your copyright, under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough detail for us to locate it; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Designated agent
Send DMCA notices to info@fluenceapp.net with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” Before launch, register a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and list that agent’s name and address here.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same agent, including your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction and to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we will disable or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
